You are the fifth CEO in the time span of just two years at Airbus. Pardon us, but do you foresee an exit soon too? It’s very challenging but at the same time, I am young enough to tackle such challenges! I am not going to leave; not at all, and you are going to see me for atleast another 10 years. There’s much to do for me in Airbus...

Where do you see Airbus headed in the next few years?
We will be surely moving into many high growth countries all over the world (and in Asia) and a growing market like India (alongwith other high growth markets like China) will be our prime focus. We will have co-operation and partnerships with major companies in the country and all over the world to support us... This will enable us to set foot on all nations.

Your comment on the latest delay in the delivery of Boeing’s Dreamliner 787...
I am too new to comment on such delay of other company but as a leader I can say that the delay in delivery of Boeing (our competitor) does not disturb our strategy. We believe in deciding our own strategy depending on the needs of the market.
