B&E: On the effects of the economic slowdown on Maruti.
RCB: There is a slowdown in the industry and therefore Maruti is affected as well. You cannot have high performance throughout the year as sometimes sales are flat as well.

B&E: Will the new plant in Manesar manufacture all models?
RCB: Apart from the A-Star, the plant is already producing the Swift and the SX4. All models cannot be produced at the plant as one has to rationalise the production and it makes no sense to manufacture one model at two separate plants.
